Don Waggoner, Leupold & Stevens exec and 'Bottle Bill' auteur, dies at 81

A man who played a big role in engineering one of the country's most innovative environmental measures has died.

Don Waggoner, who spent 40 years with the optics company Leupold & Stevens, died June 19. He was 81.

During his time with the company, he helped build L&S into a world-wide industry leader. He served on the company's board of directors, among other duties.
