About a year after the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association sued ZoomCare for trademark infringement, the parties have settled the dispute.
In an order dated July 13, U.S. District Judge Thomas Zilly in Seattle dismissed the suit, since the attorneys advised him that ?this matter has been resolved.?
Blue Cross had argued that Zoom?s logo, which uses a blue cross, was too similar to its own logo. Zoom?s logo, Blue Cross argued, may cause ?confusion, mistake and deception in the public?
